[ there really used to be a dangerous aspect of boredom, on the ground. the wrong decision born of idleness could get you killed, wandering off could get you speared. there’s nothing particularly dangerous about boredom here, well not in the physical sense. he privately thinks he might just up and die from it, that his synapses might just fail, and he’ll go catatonic.
so really, he has only a couple options, because he’s only talked to a couple people. and most of them annoy him enough that they push him back into the to hell with everyone mindset.
